Elaine Sylvia Gianforte

Elaine Sylvia Gianforte, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024, in Eau Claire Wi. She was born in Chicago IL on December 13, 1926, to Pompei and Lena (nee Braviere) Grazian.

She was united in marriage to Joseph V. Gianforte on February 2, 1947. They lived in Racine Wi. until Joseph’s death in 2009. At that time she moved to Eau Claire Wi.

Elaine was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Racine. She was employed at Modine Manufacturing Company for 20 years retiring in 1987.

Surviving are her sons John (Carol) Gianforte, Tom (Kathleen) Gianforte. Grandchildren Lisa (David) Berndes, Matthew Gianforte, Jeffrey (Deb) Gianforte, Peter (Natalie) Gianforte, and Jennifer (Christopher) Magnine.

Great Grandchildren, Haydn and Lauren Gianforte, Sylvie and Margo Gianforte, Ellie, Annie, and Henry Gianforte, Amelia and Elliot Magnine, and Elise Berndes.

She is survived by her sisters Irene Camasta and Anita Ferlito, sister-in-laws Barbara Grazian and Joan Grazian, along with many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Grazian and Ronald Grazian.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice in Elaine’s memory.

A private gathering of family members will be held in the near future.
